From 2002 to 2014, Laniece performed with renowned variety bands, delivering unforgettable renditions of R&B, Motown, Blues, and Jazz classics. She studied music at Coastal Carolina University, refining her craft and deepening her artistic roots.

Laniece's musical journey has taken her to iconic venues such as the Apollo Theatre, where she performed in 2011, and the Sugar Shack Deck at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC, where she regularly entertained audiences with various talented bands.

Her theatrical career is equally distinguished. In 2022, she brought the iconic Billie Holiday to life in the off-Broadway production of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, earning widespread acclaim. Laniece also starred as Donnie, the charismatic wedding singer, in the off-Broadway play Tony and Tina's Wedding, and portrayed Lynn in The American Trailer Park Christmas Musical, produced by Long Bay Theatre. In 2024, she added another standout role to her repertoire as Sylvia in All Shook Up.
